Philip Ramsey Consulting

Philip Ramsey Consulting was started as a hobby, designing web sites and helping friends solve computer issues. Eventually, people encouraged Philip to start charging for his services as he was able to remove the worse cases of virus infections and dramatically reduce the rates of reinfection using a combination of propper Windows configuration, educating the end user on the capabilities of the Windows operating system and the use of free anti virus and firewall software.

Although Philip is mainly self taught, he as taken a number of courses on-line with such organizations as Intel (Intel Learning Network), IBM, Sun Microsystems and Ziff Davis Publishing's virtual university called ZDU. These courses has helped Philip gain the knowledge to: design, build and configure local area networks (LAN) with a high level of security for home and small business users, design web sites including dynamic web content.
